World Football
Does the world have a low opinion of the US because we suck at football/Soccer?
It occurred to me that it might be possible the world looks down on the US, or mistrusts us, because the most popular sport in the world is football/soccer yet we stink at it.. would our world wide opinion be better if we were better at this sport? Or could it backfire and if we were dominant at that too people would hate us even more.. maybe we need to find a middle ground.
But it also seems to me the officiating in football/soccer is very subjective, like basketball. Would the officials be extra hard on the US anyway preventing us from winning even if we were good at it?
well i dont think were bad at soccer its just that we arent as big as england, etc. we dont have as many leagues.
