my dog is now pregnant ?

I found a female american eskimo (im pretty sure) dog living under my porch and i think she is pregnant. i took her in and she's been living with us for about 2 1/2 weeks. I've hung posters and put ads in the news paper but nobody has contacted me! I think she might be having her babies soon because she looks really big. Please help, what should I do?
no, me and my boyfriend can afford it!
i really dont want to take her to a shelter, they will kill her and the puppies!
i'll take her to the vet, and NO i dont have x-ray vision. I am able to take care of her because my job is very flexible, and i will.

Dogs have been having puppies for years and years by them selves, and doing it quite successfully but in this time and age they don't need to be doing it without care.

Take her to your vets for a check up. She may have problems because she has not been having a steady, and good diet and that can affect the health of the pups. Get her on a REALLY GOOD DIET.

The vet can at least be alerted and if she has a problem you have someone to rush her to for help.

You don't have to actually do much, just be there if she needs you. Nature will help her. She will birth them and clean them up and they will search out the source of food. Any help from you will be appreciated. I hope she has a small litter for she and you will both be comfortable.

Keep everyone away from the puppies while they are young because it makes Mom nervous. Let her be your guide,
